Took 2nd Place in the Poster Session at MATLAB EXPO 2024
We presented our Fish AI research — aimed at cutting the workload of underwater video analysis and supporting ecosystem understanding — and took 2nd place in the poster session.
AquaWiz exhibited its research on fish detection at MATLAB EXPO 2024 and took 2nd place in the poster session.
The research automatically detects fish in underwater video and carries that through to tracking and classification, with the goal of lightening the load of video analysis while producing information that can be used to read the state of an ecosystem. At the session, we focused on the analysis workflow, the implementation choices we made, and the results we obtained.
